• Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • Job Details
  • Contract position for a nursing role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience required in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit.
  • ICU experience also preferred and a plus.
  • Applicants must be team players, flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Require completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • Position may require floating to other areas, primarily ICU, performing skills within scope of practice.
  • May float to ED to assist with inpatients holding for beds or as helping hands.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
  • Traveler must provide current Cardiac Arrhythmia documentation prior to assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have an active NM or compact license.
    • Applicants need to be aware of their submission to our facility.
    • Submission must include at least two references, one from the current manager, a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 12 hours and varied.
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
        • Additional Details
        • No holiday RTO will be approved for travelers.
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked to be considered for a travel position.
        • State tax is passed through to the agency and will be reflected on the invoice and should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
