Medical Laboratory Phlebotomist RoleWe are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at BSA Hospital, where quality healthcare is delivered in Christian love, service, and dignity.Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and other specimen collection techniques as per laboratory guidelines.
• Promote professionalism and foster a cooperative working environment with colleagues.
• Ensure specimens are obtained and handled according to established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient data and laboratory results.
• Support organizational priorities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Maintain competency and follow procedural directions and protocols.
• Prioritize workload and assist colleagues to maintain productivity.
• Follow proper protocols for specimen packaging and transport.
• Responsible for specimen accessioning as assigned.
• Practice proper infection control, patient identification, and specimen transport.Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program, certification from a nationally recognized agency, and experience working in a clinical setting.
