Role Summary

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech at Ardent Health, you will be responsible for performing the duties of a Scrubber, including instrument management, sterile technique, and pre-post patient setup. You will also demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and keep the staff and patients safe as possible. Additionally, you will understand medication effects and report any adverse reactions, document patient data during procedures appropriately utilizing a computerized documentation system, and have knowledge of normal vs abnormal pressure measurements and ECG waveforms. You will set up and manage complex equipment from circulator, scrub, and monitor roles, and provide competent care for the patient in all phases of pre-procedure/post recovery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of accredited School of Radiology
Current License as RT in the State of Texas
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Previous cath lab and patient care experience
