Opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physician in Amarillo, TXNearest Major Metro: Lubbock, TX (Approximately 120 miles)Full Time Permanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join team in Amarillo. Facility provides 50 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APC coverage daily within this level III trauma center. We are averaging an annual volume of 54,000 per year that encompasses 49 ED beds with a 31% admission rate; while dealing with high acuity. Physicians have access to the most advanced laboratory in the region with a state-of-the-art ED and hospital facilities. There is extensive specialty backup in place, which includes most pediatric specialties as well as scribes at no cost to the physicians. Presently, ED staff does not handle floor codes, and are using EPIC as the EMR.Position Highlights:1099 clinical contract for a physician hourly.Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage included.Scribes.About The Area:Amarillo, TX, situated in the Texas Panhandle, offers a unique blend of western heritage and modern amenities.
